Mission Foods

Panorama City, CA

JRMA’s design and engineering services transformed a spec shell building into a full manufacturing and distributing facility for Mission Foods’ tortillas. Two warehouses, a production and packaging area, and a multi-line flour and corn tortilla production area make up the bulk of the 200,000 square foot property. In addition, the facility features a frying room, storage room, exterior liquid shortening storage, employee support areas, and offices. JRMA also assisted with the addition of a flour silo foundation and ensured new mechanical units would remain stable with steel-framed rooftop equipment support platforms.

This is Mission Foods fifth plant in Southern California. This Gold LEED certified facility produces roughly 12 million tortillas per day.
