Services: Civil Engineering

civil engineering services create A Single Point of Delivery

J.R. Miller and Associates has expanded our services to include Civil Engineering design capabilities. The expansion is a direct result of a demand by our clients tCivil Engineeringo provide a single point of delivery for architecture, structural and civil engineering design of new facilities and expansions. This addition will now allow us to assist clients in the early stages of project planning and programming to consider how the proposed facilities/ structures can be placed on a specific project site, and take advantage of natural site conditions and make efficient use of the property. We do this in a collaborative setting with owner representatives to prepare site grading, drainage and circulation patterns that can best suit your needs on the site.

Once preliminary design has been completed, we will assist clients to obtain grading and storm water permits, and other related approvals from local government. Our Civil Engineering group will then prepare detailed site grading plans, storm water drainage plans (SWMMP/WQMP), design of water and sewer utilities, roads and pavement sections for driveways and parking areas.

JRMA Civil Engineering Services include:

• Site Planning / Permitting
• Master Planning for Facilities and Utilities
• Preliminary and Final Grading Plans
• Utility Design (Storm Water; Water Supply and Sanitary)
• Storm Water Management Plans (Water Quality Management Plans-WQMP)
• Off-site Improvements

As we proceed with the planning and design process, we will coordinate the Civil Engineering with both our Structural and Architectural disciplines to produce an integrated set of construction documents.
