This SWANA webinar presented by JRMA’s Kevin McCarthy addressed evolving solid waste facility design concepts, including sharing site plans, pictures, and renderings of the evolution of solid waste facilities into integrated operations that go beyond traditional stand-alone transfer stations or material recovery facilities. These new integrated facilities are also designed to meet green building standards and net-zero energy goals, and to integrate with local environmental conditions such as urban creeks or wetlands.
