Westside General Aviation Campus BGA

Lexington, KY

JRMA provided master planning and engineering for Blue Grass Airport’s multi-building general aviation campus in Lexington. In order to align the complex with the rest of the airport and surrounding community, the exterior and interior design match the nearby Keeneland Race Track and historic horse farms with an equestrian-themed architecture. The project’s first phase introduced two 18,000 square foot hangar buildings, concrete aprons, parking, and an operational infrastructure to the airport, preparing the airport for a wider range of general aviation services in the future.
