This 17,000 s.f. headquarters for Model Glass Inc., a major Southern California glazing supplier/contractor features tilt-up concrete construction with steel and glass architectural accents. The two-story office features an entry lobby “tower” with dual-glazed insulating outward-sloping Azurlite glass, a counterpoint to the straight lines of the building. Tempered glass fins that extend from the ground up to the tower canopy provide a lightness that keynotes the glass theme.
Project cost: $ 1.1 million.
