Vistage recognizes Jim Miller with a 2026 Legacy Award

September 14, 2026 – Jim Miller has been named the recipient of a 2026 Legacy Award by Vistage, the world’s largest CEO coaching and peer advisory organization for small and midsize businesses. The Legacy Award honors members who have completed their business exit within the past two years. Whether selling their business, transitioning to the next generation of owners, executing an ESOP, or successfully navigating a merger or acquisition, Legacy leaders have reached a summit – leaving behind a solid foundation for future leaders to build upon.

Jim Miller is the Founder and chairperson of JRMA, a nationally recognized architecture, engineering, and planning firm. Since founding the company in 1982, Mr. Miller has helped guide JRMA's growth from a small Southern California practice into a multidisciplinary firm serving public- and private-sector clients nationwide. Over a career spanning more than 45 years, Jim has contributed to the planning and design of hundreds of solid waste and organics processing facilities and other complex infrastructure projects. Licensed as a professional engineer in 17 states, Mr. Miller has also shared his expertise as a speaker at many industry events, as a guest lecturer at several local colleges, and as a published author. Today, he continues to support JRMA while helping the firm's next generation of leaders carry forward its commitment to practical innovation, client service, and sustainable solutions.
