Site development of a 12.5-acre site and construction of a 82,000 s.f. material recovery facility and transfer station including C&D tipping floor, maintenance building, 2-story office building, buy-back center, and visitors center. The MRF contains conveyorized manual, commercial and commingled sorting lines.
Facility throughput: Intended station volume is 2,500 tons per day.
Special considerations: Three-lane transfer tunnel with future compactor retrofit considerations.
Work performed: Complete structural and process equipment engineering design, and construction cost estimating documents.
