Designed to meet the growing municipal solid waste needs of the County of Los Angeles, this new facility has the capacity to process 4,400 tons per day (TPD).
Located within the main building, the 37,000 s.f. Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) provides mechanized sorting of recyclables for compaction, baling and shipment from a loading dock. The three-story administration building includes an atrium lobby and bridge gallery for visitors to enter the main building and view the daily MRF and transfer operations from overhead.
