Job Description: Lead / Senior Civil Engineer:

Key management position with the responsibility for representing JRMA with clients, preparing/negotiating work scopes and budgets, executing civil engineering services, and participating in JRMA’s business development program. This position will provide project management and lead design responsibilities for a wide range of projects (i.e., grading and drainage plans, design of on-site/off-site utilities, and design of paving and roadway improvements). This position requires a group leadership role which includes working with other departments to prepare design plans and specifications, and staff hiring to expand the unit.

Requirements: Registration as a professional civil engineer in California with a minimum of 10 years experience in project management and the design of site grading and drainage plans, water and sanitary sewer utilities, storm water management systems, paving and street improvement projects or public works projects. Excellent project management and good communication skills required; must demonstrate capabilities to prepare construction documents and cost estimates/budget details for civil engineering services. Experience with AutoCAD desirable.
