The way we build will affect the lives of future generations. For this reason, JRMA is committed to sustainable design--design that conserves valuable resources, protects the ecosystem, and enhances how people experience their environment for work, education, and play.

Our approach to green design is rooted in the same considerations that have guided us from our inception: integrate function, schedule, and value, design efficient building systems, reuse building materials when possible, and collaborate closely with the owner and general contractor to control waste. Following these principals, JRMA has designed many energy-efficient buildings that create long-term value for our clients.
The LEED Green Building Rating Systemâ„¢ is the standard for measuring building sustainability. JRMA has over six LEED Accredited Professionals on our staff and we are a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). We have worked on several LEED projects, including Hangar 25, in Burbank, CA--the world's first LEED Platinum-certified aircraft hangar in the world.
Our own in-house environmental practices ensure we adhere to the same standards of sustainability we recommend to our clients. JRMA's Brea, CA office is an adaptive re-use of existing space and employs energy-efficient daylighting.
