JRMA has a long history of working with food processing customers that encompasses a wide range of products from beer production to pet foods and from tortilla-making to Coke™ bottle molding. A history woven with this variety brings a depth of insight to every new project, whether it’s a new process line or a plant expansion.
Our background includes:
-
Dry and wet processing, meat grinding/mixing
-
Conveyors, pipe supports
-
Silo, tank and bulk storage
-
Assembly/packaging and rack storage systems
-
Cold storage, freezers, and production line chilling/freezing
-
Ovens and cooker processes
-
Batch and continuous processing
-
Beverage/brewery operations
Careful planning and programming leverages every project to its full potential. The programming begins with JRMA listening carefully to all of your concerns for achieving a successful operation that will meet current and future production needs. In order to translate those concerns into a viable facility design program, we work with you to develop a process flow diagram, the first step in “growing” an operationally efficient final layout. Recognizing that the process areas are a key part of the sequence from raw materials to shipped product, we will work closely with your equipment vendors in developing floor plan schemes that will determine the most efficient equipment configuration for your needs. In addition, we integrate clean design elements towards achieving a plant that has the highest levels of food safety and USDA certifications. JRMA believes every key design decision we make with you should answer questions such as…
-
Are we improving yield?
-
Will we be energy efficient?
-
Are emissions being reduced?
-
Will we have quicker cleanouts between runs?
-
Are we reducing emissions?
-
Will we have water usage reduction and better treatments systems?
We know the critical needs of the construction phase that can be linked to equipment delivery schedules, scheduled shut down periods, and ultimately, startup dates that must meet product delivery targets. JRMA is aggressive with coordinating these schedule targets with your facility staff and the Contractor as well as other entities such as building inspectors and utility planners until the job is done. And when that job is done and a success, JRMA wants You, our Customer, to call us back again for your next project!
