The Civil/Design Technician will provide support services to the civil design group including preparation of site grading and drainage plans, plans for on-site and off-site utilities and roadway/street improvements. The Civil/Design Technician will have good communication skills and be part of a team working with Auto/Cadd Technicians in structural and architectural disciplines to prepare design and construction drawings.
Requirements: Applicants shall have a minimum of 2 years of experience in preparing plans for civil related projects including public works, transportation and private site development-type projects. Experienced with AutoCAD drafting standards and design practices and experience in the following computer applications and software; Drafting-AutoCAD 2006; Civil Engineering Design-Profiles, Earthwork, Quantities, Etc; SurvCAD; Terra Model InRoads-Highway Work.
